Dr. Komal Suri, author of the book ‘Creating Smiles’ has joined the team at elleven and sees patients at the practice every Tuesday. The main focus of her work is in advanced restorative dentistry. This encompasses occlusion (bite problems), cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns, dental implants and bridgework. Her work covers treating patients with single tooth aesthetic problems to full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr Suri has undergone extensive training both nationally and internationally. She is a graduate of the internationally recognised ‘Kois Centre’ Seattle, USA, a postgraduate restorative programme attended by dentists from all over the world. Dr Suri now teaches at a postgraduate level in the UK and internationally in the field of restorative dentistry.
She is the author of the book ‘Creating Smiles’ an invaluable aid for dentists in achieving the aesthetic harmony for a bespoke smile design. The book is the product of 10 years of advanced restorative dentistry carried out at her own practice. It is the first interactive manual that ensures that full mouth restorations result in predictable smiles that dentists and patients can design with precision.
Having trained in the United States, Dr Suri is proving a particular hit with our American patients at elleven as they appreciate the familiar terminology and feel they have found an American dentist in London. This was summed up perfectly by the famous blogger, An American Girl in Chelsea, in her recent article.
