Sometimes patient have retained baby canine teeth which should have erupted by the age of 12 years. It is very tricky to later make space for these teeth and align them.
We had to in this case surgically place little gold chains on the upper canine teeth and with fixed braces align them into place giving a better broader smile and function.
It is very rare to do this procedure in adult patients as they are non growing and this makes things unpredictable. However with the expertise of Orthodontics Shivani Patel coupled with surgeon Mr Johnson the teeth were aligned and smile enhanced with very simple bondings by Sameer Patel.
